Community Gathers For Henzells Car Giveaway

Hearts were racing for the recent grand draw of Henzells’ Win a Brand New Holden Cruz competition…and it was an 80-year-old local retirement village resident who stole the thunder.

Edna Hockins was deemed the winner of the big prize at last week’s community street party held at Henzells’ Caloundra headquarters as part of the company’s 80^th birthday celebrations.

With Edna’s best driving years behind her, she has happily handed the over the keys to the $20,000 vehicle to a family member, said Golden Beach sales specialist Iain Simms. “It was great to see the car go to a deserving family who have been in the area for years,’’ Iain said. The lucky winner qualified simply by listing and selling their property with Henzells Agency. “It was a low-set three bedroom house in Coronation Avenue Golden Beach, that attracted a lot of interest when it sold in early July,’’  Iain said.Celebrating 80 years serving the Sunshine Coast is something that Henzells Agency is very proud of and it would not have been possible without the loyal support of its wonderful customers.

The car giveaway was a way of saying thank you.
