Enthusiasm Pays Off for New Trainee Jamie

Henzells is pleased to welcome aboard our newest recruit, Jamie Torres, who makes history at the agency as our first ever sales trainee.

Having pursued a job with Henzells for more than five years from the age of 19, the local Sunshine Coaster’s passion for real estate eventually became impossible to resist and we are delighted that he is now officially part of the team.

Jamie has been taken under the wing of experienced local agents Matt Tucker and Grant Goodrum, learning the ropes from amongst the best in the field, whilst also prospecting for his own business in the Caloundra West area.

As part of Henzells commitment to providing the best training and support for its team members Jamie is also completing his official Certificate IV in Property Services in house, further arming him with the necessary competencies to work in the industry.

Jamie said the family atmosphere, team environment, support and training were the key reasons for wanting to join Henzells.

“I was knocking on the door for five years and I am so excited to now be part of the team. Henzells strives to have the best in the business and it is a great privilege to be able to draw on that experience to learn and develop as an agent,’’ he said.

Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, Jamie attended Golden Beach State School and Caloundra State High School before helping his family start up a logistics company where he worked for several years.

An excellent communicator with great people skills, Jamie also worked in customer service and sales in the automotive and insurance sectors before following his passion into real estate.

Hard working, loyal and committed to providing the best possible service, Jamie never misses an opportunity to learn new skills and broaden his real-estate knowledge.

Outside of work he enjoys playing golf at his favourite course, Caloundra Golf Club, spending time with family and friends and enjoying the Sunshine Coast lifestyle. Other interests include building design and motorsport.
