Henzells Agency is very pleased to announce the appointment of highly experienced local agent Eric Murray to the residential sales team.
With a successful real estate career spanning more than 25 years, Eric’s professionalism, friendly no-nonsense approach and unrivalled local knowledge has made the buying and selling experience a positive and seamless one for countless clients.
Originally from the New South Wales town of Casino where he established and ran a successful chain of bakery businesses before turning his hand to real estate, Eric moved to the Sunshine Coast in 1990.
He has owned and worked in various agencies including extensive experience in the southern Sunshine Coast region – covering the full spectrum of the property industry including rural sales, residential, commercial and industrial.
“I have never seen the local market better,’’ Eric said.
“We are presently doing around 40 to 45 contracts a month including a huge proportion of southern buyers and people from Toowoomba flooding into the area looking to get a foothold in the market with a view to retiring here in the future,’’ he said.
“Optimism is high and excellent prices are being achieved including a recent vacant block of land at Holt Street Currimundi which sold for a record price of $800,000 greatly exceeding the seller’s expectations.
“Across the board we have seen property prices rise in the region by 30% in the last five years,’’ he said.
Having sold thousands of apartments and homes throughout his career, Eric is committed to the same high level of professionalism regardless of the property or price range.
A firm believer in old fashioned loyalty, hard work and integrity, Eric specialises in private treaty and auction sales. Presently focussing on the exciting growth areas of Currimundi and Battery Hill, he is committed to achieving the highest price while offering expert advice and outstanding customer service in the process.
Eric is also a qualified auctioneer, experienced public speaker and awarded member of Toastmasters.
He enjoys keeping fit, spending time with his family, helping people from all walks of life and donating his time to charities including cerebral palsy events.
