The events just keep rolling in Caloundra, putting the region top-of-mind for visitors and reminding locals why it’s such a wonderful place to call home.

Hot off the success of Downunder Beachfest celebrating custom hot-rods and rock ’n’ roll, two more spectacular events are about to take centre stage, Winter Wunderland and the ever-popular Caloundra Music Festival.

Embrace the cold when Bulcock Street transforms into a Winter Wunderland in a free event from 4pm to 8pm on Friday July 14. From live performances and delicious food to locally handmade designs and loads of entertainment for the kids – this is a family evening not to be missed.

Highlights include street market, delicious cuisines, hot chocolates and warm deserts, face painting, fire twirlers, tea cup ride, flash mob dance, an icy igloo experience and much, much more. So, rug up, grab your friends and family and get ready for the coolest show in town!

The next major event in the spotlight is the Caloundra Music Festival, now in its 16th year. The beautiful surrounds of Kings Beach will come alive to the sounds of a diverse lineup of entertainment from September 29 to October 1 featuring international bands and the best of the Australian music scene.

The festival is renowned for bringing together a wide audience of local communities and visitors to celebrate the best high-quality music, local culture and food.

This year’s lineup includes Spiderbait, The Temper Trap, Thirsty Merc, Middle Kids, Kasey Chambers, Illy and many more, with other great acts yet to be announced.

Seeing amazing artists each afternoon and evening means the mornings are free to attend attractions like Australia Zoo, explore the Glass House Mountains and more.

Henzells applauds events such as this which raise the profile of our beautiful area while celebrating our environment, cultural achievements and community spirit.

Other events and attractions to keep on your radar include the Unplugged Sessions, a one-day showcase of live music and great food across various Caloundra venues on Sunday August 6 and a special visit by Sunrise’s weather presenter Sam Mac who will be broadcasting from Kings Beach pool between 5.30am and 8.45am on July 4.
