The September school holidays are almost over and soon we will be slipping quietly back to our regular lives, the lazy sun-soaked days with family and friends all but a pleasant memory while we count down the weeks until we can do it all again.
Those who were lucky enough to manage some time off work really made the most of it and it was great to see the beaches, parks, cafes, restaurants and shops bustling with activity.
Caloundra once again put on a stunning show for visitors and locals alike with beautiful beach conditions and ideal spring weather.
It seemed like everybody had a smile on their face and a spring in their step as the town lived up to its famous reputation as a welcoming, friendly and fun place to be.
As the leading holiday accommodation provider in the region, Henzells Agency was at full capacity for the September break and the approach to Christmas will be no different as the warm summer sunshine and relaxed Caloundra beach vibe prove impossible to resist.
This weekend’s Caloundra Music Festival will be a highlight for many featuring an incredible line-up of talent including Angus & Julia Stone, Xavier Rudd, Josh Pike, Hoodoo Gurus, Ash Grunwald, Baby Animals, Been Lee and more – all certain to put on a memorable show at Kings Beach from October 2-5.
The festival continues to go from strength to strength, firmly establishing itself as one of the Sunshine Coast’s premium events.
As well as being great entertainment, it is a huge windfall for local businesses and one which traditionally sets us up for the busy Christmas period ahead.
Congratulations to everyone involved for bringing this great event to Caloundra each year.
