Henzells staff are used to doing the hard yards when it comes to getting property deals over the line, and now that same mindset is being channelled into improving their own health and wellbeing.
Henzells Agency and Pelican Waters have provided their staff with access to free group workout sessions as part of the family-owned business’s commitment to providing a healthy work/life balance.
Operations Manager Katherine Allan said the fitness sessions were a great way of bringing people together from different areas of the business.
“It’s an excellent way to build camaraderie amongst our staff who we have always regarded as our most important asset,” Katherine said.
“We are passionate about creating the most enjoyable workplace possible and are delighted to be encouraging our employees to embrace fitness.
“Healthy bodies and healthy minds also means our people are bringing the best of themselves to work each day, so it has a positive influence throughout the business.”
Staff huff and puff their way through a morning and afternoon session each week at Caloundra Rugby Union Club and Shelly Beach, run by a professional health and wellbeing coach who also provides dietary and nutritional advice.
The program is running for eight weeks, with further sessions planned for 2018.
“The free workout sessions are in keeping with Henzells mission to provide all staff with an engaging workplace and a solid platform to achieve their goals, including ongoing training, mentoring and support,’’ Katherine said.
Founded in 1935, Henzells Agency is today an independent real estate corporation and one of the most respected companies on the Sunshine Coast. Roy Henzell Senior first established Henzells Agency.
