Honouring the best of the best 

It was a great honour to pay tribute to our top performers at the annual Henzells staff awards celebration this week.

The cream certainly rose to the top in what was a year of outstanding achievement across all facets of our business and we thank the entire Henzells Agency and Pelican Waters teams for their commitment, passion and performance.

Our staff have gone the extra mile to deliver some of our most impressive results on record including 153 properties settled, processing over 7000 rental enquires and increasing gross holiday bookings to $3.7 million for the year.

The year was also highlighted by one of the agency’s most important milestones to date in the official opening of the $16 million Pelican Waters Marina, launching a new era in premium coastal living.

It was great to gather as a team to enjoy the fine food and hospitality at Buderim’s Dee Den restaurant as we thanked our hard working and highly talented staff for their fabulous efforts.
Congratulations to Iain Simms who won Sales Agent of the Year for an incredible eighth consecutive year, as well as most listings for 2023.

Pelican Waters specialist Linda Feltman took home the award for highest VPA, while the Team of the Year trophy went to Paul Bell and Andrew Douglas in commercial.

Our marketing guru Nicole McCarroll was the proud winner of the Judy Henzell Award for delivering outstanding service with a positive attitude; the Joan Ford Award went to holiday reservation consultant Michele Kelly for attention to detail; property consultant Morgan Bonanno took home the Bevan Henzell trophy for epitomising everything that Henzells and Pelican Waters represents and financial controller for Henzells and Pelican Waters, Steve Webb, won the coveted Henzells Agency Award, who celebrates his 30th anniversary with Henzells Agency in October.

This year saw the introduction of the Sue Custance Memorial Trophy named in honour of our much-loved work colleague and friend who sadly passed away. Voted for by the Henzells team, it was a four-way tie between Kyle Davies, Danielle Smithson, Karen Ronchi and Morgan Bonanno. The award honours a genuinely kind individual who gives 100% to their job and spreads joy throughout the office, just like Sue did.
