Kicking Goals for Sun Safety

Henzells Agency is proud to be kicking goals for sun safety through the provision of free sunscreen for local soccer kids.

As the successful recipient of a community grant, we are helping to ensure the young members of the Unity College Soccer Club stay safe from the Aussie elements while they’re outdoors having fun.

The program is an extension of Henzells existing sun safety initiatives of supplying shade marquees for various school and sporting events.

As a family-owned business operating for more than 80 years on the Sunshine Coast, Henzells Agency is committed to leaving a lasting legacy in the communities we serve.

Henzells takes enormous pride in real estate and has been rewarded with a loyal and growing following. Since our earliest days, we have been passionate about enhancing the social fabric by giving back to the communities in which we operate.

More than bricks and mortar, Henzells has contributed greatly to community projects such as donating land for the Caloundra Cricket Club, Golden Beach bowls and tennis club and Caloundra City Private School.

We have left a lasting legacy for future generations through the establishment of numerous parks, bridges and canals and helped people reach their full potential through the raising of hundreds of thousands of dollars for worthy local charities and sporting groups.

One particular issue that is very close to our heart is sun safety.

While the Sunshine Coast is one of the most desirable places in the world to live, it also shares the dubious honour of being one of the skin cancer capitals of the world.

With the backing of we are very happy to be implementing this important program for the local community, providing children with the resources and support to develop good sun protection habits and encourage independent sun protection behaviours with a view to minimising the risks of skin cancer.
