The recent rush of activity has included a four bedroom home in St Helena Street, which Darren sold for well above the asking price after receiving more than 180 enquiries and 21 offers. Similarly, a two level, four bedroom family home in Gallery Place changed hands for well in excess of the asking price, with 60 enquiries and 6 offers. Both homes sold to local buyers and were under contract within a matter of days, highlighting the growing sense of urgency and demand for this residential hotspot.

“The reality is that we have an oversupply of buyers and no properties to sell, so it’s a great time to go to market if you want quick results and a good price."

“We are getting a lot of enquiry from Victoria with the easing of lockdowns and, once the same thing happens in New South Wales, you can only assume demand will increase even further.”

Darren said Little Mountain’s family appeal was a major drawcard. “It is a family orientated area with the local Meridan State College and Parklands Marketplace, and being just minutes from the Caloundra CBD and beaches.

“Plus, it is known for its good-sized blocks with room for the kids to play, and space for pools and sheds. People love it,’’ Darren said.
