Henzells is delighted to announce the appointment of former local and international school teacher, Tim Hackney, to the position of residential sales agent focussing on the area of Little Mountain.
Bringing extensive local knowledge and excellent communication skills to his new role, Tim has previously worked in Australia and overseas for an extended period in primary and secondary education and also has experience in the construction industry.
Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, he has happily resettled in Caloundra with his school-teacher wife and their young child to follow his passion for real estate.
Attention to detail and interpersonal and negotiation skills learnt through many years’ experience in previous careers gives Tim a distinct advantage in securing great outcomes for his property clients.
“I love the challenge of real estate and the fact that it is a local community-based job in an area I know and love,’’ Tim said.
“I see many parallels with teaching and real estate – both require high degrees of organisation and planning, an open and honest approach and great communication.”
Tim said he was drawn to Henzells because of the family feel of the agency and the high level of support offered.
“Henzells offers the good balance of a professional, hi-tech approach to business with a friendly laid back nature that I found very appealing,’’ he said.
With a positive attitude and a commitment to always achieving the best results, Tim is people-focussed agent with a friendly, no nonsense approach.
When away from the office Tim makes the most of the Caloundra lifestyle with early morning walks at Little Mountain, playing golf, watching local football and catching up with friends and family especially in places like Moffat and Kings Beach.
