Newly-appointed Commercial Property Manager for Henzells Agency, Fiona Pyke, says optimism is high for the local commercial sector on the back of strong consumer confidence and the revitalization of Caloundra’s CBD.
“The CBD upgrade will be fantastic for retailers and fantastic for Caloundra. The only way is up,’’ Fiona said.
The vibrant streetscape project currently underway in the city featuring tree planting, gardens, street furniture, shade features, interactive feature lighting, new footpaths and pedestrian crossings is part of wider plan for the CBD to create more interesting public spaces and diverse attractions
Fiona says the project will contribute to the already high occupancy levels and injection of new business.
Having grown up in Caloundra, Fiona brings extensive local knowledge as well as a strong background in accountancy and finance to the role of Commercial Property Manager.
Prior to joining Henzells she worked for eight years for one of Australia’s leading property groups, managing commercial properties in community shopping centres across New South Wales and Queensland, including at Currimundi Markets where Henzells recently opened a new office.
“Coming from a corporate background it is so refreshing to be a part of great team culture that values the work/life balance,’’ Fiona said.
“Growing up in Caloundra, Henzells has been such an iconic name so to now be finally working for such a well-known and respected business is very exciting,’’ she said.
Offering a strong analytical background and no-nonsense approach, Fiona said she was eager to develop strong, cohesive relationships with all stakeholders in order to deliver consistent results in property management.
Outside of work, Fiona enjoys spending time with family, exploring the excellent coffee shops and cafes of the Coast and attending AFL games as a member of the Brisbane Lions.
