Pelican Waters’ latest land offering, Navigators II, has made a huge splash with buyers with the precinct now 100% sold within weeks of its release.
There was an overwhelming response to the prime North facing lots through the expressions of interest campaign, registering almost $45 million in sales, with all 46 lots now under contract.
Comprising of 26 waterfront homesites and the remainder being dry lots, Navigators II continued the incredible flood of interest in land at Pelican Waters where previous releases, The Entrance and Navigators 1, also sold out within days.
Henzells Agency's Pelican Waters land specialist, Morgan Bonanno, said the majority of buyers were local.
“Around 80% of the uptake was from locals with a few from Brisbane and a handful of Southern buyers,’’ Morgan said.
“There was so much momentum coming into Navigators II due to the success of the previous releases, and many of those who missed out earlier were able to secure their dream block."
“Land has definitely returned to favour. People are looking around and seeing the kind of prices currently being paid for existing properties and realising that buying land and building something of their own is a very cost-effective option, plus they get what they want,’’ Morgan said.
Construction of Navigators II is nearing completion with titles expected to be issued this month, paving the way for owners to start building their dream homes by early next year.
Future residents will benefit from wide canal views, navigable water access to the Pumicestone Passage via the new lock, waterfront walkways leading to the new marina precinct and a pedestrian bridge to Central Park.
Fortunately, there are more opportunities on the horizon for those who missed out on Navigators II, with Pelican Waters planning a new release for around March 2022. Located on the island, the release will comprise of approximately 30 waterfront, dry and terrace opportunities close to Central Park.
