Nobody understands Pelican Waters like Henzells does which is why we are delighted to welcome the official opening of the new $16 million Pelican Waters Marina, launching a new era in premium coastal living.
The first of its kind for the Sunshine Coast in many decades and incorporating the only fully-enclosed dry stack storage facility in the region, the marina represents the most significant transformation of the Pelican Waters community to date and a key asset to both the local and regional economies.
With bridge clearances of 4.3m at high tide and a consistent navigable channel at the new Pumicestone Passage entrance, it is surprising the size of vessels that can be accommodated within the Pelican Waters Marina.
For example, this stunning boat with an overall length of 14.7m can navigate the lock and bridges of Pelican Waters without issue.
The marina comprises a fully enclosed 3,000sqm shed for storage of 160 boats up to 10m in length, offering its clients unlimited boat lifts, one hour launch and retrieval service, boat washdown and engine flush, while they enjoy the marina amenities.
With dry boat storage now one of the fastest forms of boat storage in the world, all it takes is a phone call to have your boat launched, retrieved and placed in storage, removing all the hassles of towing, parking and boat-ramp queues.
There are also wet berths providing safe harbour for 126 vessels up to 17m in length, all supplied with power, water and access to the floating fuel facility with diesel and premium unleaded options, including sewage pumpout servicing the marina and broader boating communities.
Marina users will have access to premium services and marina related businesses including shipwright repairs, anti-foul service, marina mechanic and electrician, chandlery, hard stand service and generous carpark.
The nautical hub will also be home to a signature, architecturally-designed waterfront restaurant with breathtaking east-facing views and a fusion of indoor and outdoor dining spaces.
As the region continues to flourish as one of SEQ’s premier lifestyle and investment centres, with some 2000 new residences and multiple business coming on line with Pelican Water’s upcoming Marina Village development alone, and a forecasted 20,000 new dwellings planned for nearby Aura over the next decade, the outlook for the southern Sunshine Coast is very exciting.
The Marina’s official opening will occur this Tuesday. Congratulations to all involved in delivering this world-class asset for the region!
