The Sunshine Coast business community will be chipping in for a special cause at the Henzells Pelican Waters Foundation 2017 Charity Golf & Long Lunch Classic, with a bumper field to contest the October 20 event.
The annual charity classic at Pelican Waters Golf Club is expected so see in excess of 100 players teeing off on the big day, raising funds for the Currimundi Special School.
There is a handful of corporate golf and lunch packages still available and even individual spots can be purchased for the event. People can phone organiser Sandy Callaghan on 07 5492 4888 for further details.
Henzells and Pelican Waters Director Garry Waters said the Foundation was very happy to be contributing to such a worthwhile local cause.
“The Foundation is delighted the main recipient of this year’s classic is the Currimundi Special School which relies on community support to continue its excellent work creating valuable learning experiences for local children,’’ Mr Waters said.
“We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the businesses that return year after year to support our Foundation and wish to leave a legacy in the Caloundra Community.
“We are looking forward to a great day on October 20, with the event featuring a fresh new format including a long lunch at The Marquee at Pelican Waters Golf Club, auctions, entertainment and more.”
