Southern Sunshine Coast Property Market Riding Wave of Confidence

Growing confidence in the Sunshine Coast property market has never been more evident than in the region’s southern reaches where leading independent agency Henzells has had a blockbuster month of sales.

Henzells negotiated 28 sales in October for a combined $16.7 million with suburbs including Aura, Pelican Waters, Palmview and Aroona amongst the best performers.

In addition, the family-owned company attracted 34 new listings and successfully leased 19 rental properties.

The Aura catchment has become a significant hotspot in recent times, reflected by six sales in the past month including a top price of $593,000.

Other notable sales included two $1 million-plus homes in Palmview, a $1 million result at Marina View, Pelican Waters and a host of units and houses changing hands in Aroona.  

Sales Manager Kyle Davies said the strong results were a combination of the region’s desirable product and lifestyle plus plenty of old-fashioned hard work from the real estate team.

Mr Davies said Henzells’ very close ties to the community where it has operated continuously for 83 years, providing hundreds of thousands of dollars in support to worthy organisations over that time had enhanced its standing as one of the most trusted names in local real estate.
