Experienced real estate professional and successful local rugby league coach Steve Nelson has joined the residential sales team at Henzells.
With an excellent background in premium sales results, Steve will be specialising in the exciting growth areas of Wurtulla and Birtinya.
Prior to joining Henzells, Steve spent approximately 17 years with large real estate groups based on the southern Sunshine Coast.
He has successfully marketed and sold a vast number of properties across the Caloundra region with a focus on new homes and the beachside precincts.
Originally from Dubbo in New South Wales, Steve also worked in the local government sector for 15 years after completing a building apprenticeship.
Outside of work, Steve still maintains a keen interest in rugby league. He played and coached in Dubbo and upon arriving on the Sunshine Coast, took the reins of the Caloundra Sharks, coaching them to a grand final in 2006 and a preliminary final in 2007.
“I carry the lessons sport has taught me into my real estate career – the importance of preparation, attention to detail and teamwork,’’ Steve said.
Steve said he was optimistic about the current market which he describes as being in a period of transition.
“It is critical that buyers and sellers use a trusted and knowledgeable local agent, and that the agent is factual with their client,’’ he said.
Steve currently lives at Battery Hill with his wife. They have a son who is completing a law degree at QUT in Brisbane.
Founded in 1935, Henzells Agency is today an independent real estate corporation and one of the most respected companies on the Sunshine Coast. Roy Henzell Senior first established Henzells Agency.
