The community based relationship between the Sunshine Coast District Vulnerable Persons Unit and Henzells Agency, Caloundra continues to flourish.
As a result of a recent collaboration the Vulnerable Persons Unit’s Snr Constable Lee Allan was asked to design the Caloundra Rugby Union Clubs ‘Ladies Day” fixture jersey worn by the “A Grade” side on Saturday 21st July 2018. Henzells Agency Caloundra were the major sponsor for the fixture and asked Snr Constable Allan to design the “one off” jersey design for the first grade game, which saw the Caloundra Lighthouse’s convincing winners over the Noosa Dolphins.
Henzells Agency have been long-time supporters of community based police initiatives within the local Caloundra and surrounding districts and are familiar with the work, education and intervention initiatives advocated by the Sunshine Coast District Vulnerable Persons Unit. Henzells Agency wished to support a charity directly linked to mental health support services and subsequently approached the Black Dog Institute. The Black Dog Institute were delighted to have their logo displayed on both sleeves on the game day jersey. Henzells Agency proudly donated $500 to the Black Dog Institute as a result of donations received from the day.
