Henzells Agency is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Piggott to the residential sales team.
Bringing a fresh approach to the local real estate market, Amy’s friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focussed approach is a winning formula for clients seeking a successful and stress free sale.
Formerly from New Zealand, Amy relocated to the Sunshine Coast in 2007, falling in love with the community and way people support each other.
Prior to joining Henzells, Amy worked as a camera operator in studio news for NZTV in Auckland and also as a swim instructor for babies and children with disabilities at the Kawana Aquatic Centre.
“It was very rewarding, but a career change was calling and I decided to follow in my mother’s footsteps, who was one of the top agents in Auckland,’’ Amy said.
Success came quickly with Amy’s first sale being a $1.45million waterfront home, and she has been hooked on achieving the best possible outcomes for all property clients ever since.
“Listening to buyers’ needs and working hard to get a positive outcome is critical. Communication is so important in real estate,’’ she says.
“I enjoy meeting new people, sharing ideas and helping them with the transition in what can be a stressful time in their lives.”
Attracted to Henzells because of the family friendly, team environment, Amy is a strong believer in presenting properties in their best possible light prior to sale.
“Decluttering and even fresh paint if needed helps buyers to visualise themselves in the space more easily.”
Amy has recently built a new home at Pelican Waters where she lives with her husband and their two daughters aged 10 and 8.
“I love the closeness of family and friends and the safe environment that the community provides,’’ Amy said.
Outside of work Amy enjoys swimming, netball and photography.
