Henzells has further strengthened its sales team with the appointment of highly experienced local agent Grant Goodrum.
One of the southern Sunshine Coast’s most respected and successful agents, he will be specialising in residential sales in Moffat Beach, Shelly Beach, Dicky Beach and Currimundi areas, bringing a wealth of specialist local knowledge to the role.
Prior to joining Henzells, Grant worked for four years in the Caloundra area with a major real estate franchise, having originally launched his property career in his home town of Bundaberg in 2010.
He said he was drawn to Henzells because of the legacy built by directors Roy Henzell and Garry Waters, the company’s unique family atmosphere and excellent support systems.
Grant said it was an exciting time to be working in real estate, with the market performing so strongly.
“It’s certainly the best market I have seen in the past six years,’’ he said.
“The Sunshine Coast is being spoken of in national circles as the place to buy.”
Grant said confidence in the local market was being driven by three main factors – property prices being extremely reasonable compared with southern markets; major infrastructure and job creation projects in the pipeline and its enviable beach-side location still within an hour’s commute from Brisbane.
A Kings Beach resident, he said he was looking forward to being part of Henzells’ winning culture and bringing his own brand of enthusiastic, customer- oriented service to the business.
“Real estate is primarily a people business. It’s about being an excellent communicator. That’s what makes a good agent in my eyes,’’ he said.
Outside of work, Grant loves spending time with his young son, and partner who runs her own events business. He enjoys keeping fit and getting back to the family farm in Bundaberg whenever he can.
