Henzells Agency is very pleased to announce the appointment of Mikaela Simpson to the property management team.
Born and bred on the Sunshine Coast, Mikaela brings extensive local knowledge and real estate experience to the role.
After honing her skills in property management at family owned agency in Cotton Tree, where she also obtained qualifications in business administration, Mikaela says she is very excited about meeting new challenges.
“After completing a Certificate 3 in Business Administration, I decided that I wanted to further my career in the real estate and property management industry as I knew it was a job I could tackle,’’ she said.
“I love working with people and being able to be the person to assist with the management of properties and helping prospective tenants find a suitable home.
“I think one of the best parts of the job is meeting new people and assisting them with their queries. I also like tackling challenges and the rewarding feeling that comes with doing a job properly.
“I really enjoy working at Henzells as the team are so friendly and supportive and they have all made me feel really welcome since starting.”
Mikaela says attention to detail, excellent time management and strong communication and negotiating skills are the essential requirements of a good property manager.
Outside of work, Mikaela enjoys going to the beach and collecting and refurbishing 50s, 60s and 70s furniture and collectables.
The Shelly Beach resident also has a passion for travel and is saving to buy a first home with her partner.
